SAN FRANSISCO, APRIL 2017 - RAPP Worldwide, a global creative agency that builds direct, meaningful and high-value relationships between brands and people, and part of the DAS Group of Companies, has strengthened its San Francisco leadership team by hiring Mindy Sears as Office Creative Director. Sears will report directly into Anne Marie Neal, President, RAPP SF.
“RAPP SF is built on the aspiration of bringing our data-driven heritage and creative innovation closer together," said Neal. "The industry is hungry for that, and I don't believe anyone has tapped into its full potential yet. Mindy has the passion and bravery to define that through the work, distinctively for RAPP."
Sears is a boomerang to RAPP, having originally joined in 2012, building her reputation on results-driving work for Bank of America, Brita and Gerber. She then went to Omnicom sister agency, Organic, to lead digital creative for the Wells Fargo team.
"There are two main reasons I came back to RAPP,"' said Sears. "The first is to help to build on the momentum in San Francisco. It's been a story of growth since the office opened, just over 2.5 years ago – and I want to amplify RAPP as a collective for transformative, creative talent that wants to push the definition of great work. The second is to help champion female creative talent and leadership – there’s a huge opportunity to make a difference in this space. I am committing to changing that narrative, one mentorship and one hire at a time.”
